Introducing the Goyang International Expo Foundation .

The Goyang International Expo Foundation is making a fresh start through the cooperation of the floriculture and MICE industries, aiming for Goyang Special City to stand tall as a world-class city.

The International Horticulture Goyang Korea is the largest flower exhibition in Northeast Asia leading the flower trade, serving as a festive space for South Korean flower farmers, flower-loving citizens of Goyang, and visitors to the exhibition grounds.

The International Horticulture Goyang Korea, which began in 1997 as the country's first international flower exhibition, has established itself as a representative exhibition of South Korea by hosting 17 exhibitions by 2025 and attracting approximately 840 million domestic and international tourists.

The Goyang Convention Bureau supports the attraction and hosting of events for a sustainable MICE ecosystem and carries out various promotional marketing projects to help Goyang Special City become a global MICE city.

In 2017, the Goyang Convention Bureau became the first domestic Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) to join the Global Destination Sustainability Society (GDSM), and in 2018, it won the 'Best Sustainable Development City Award' among approximately 50 cities worldwide. In 2024, it achieved the remarkable feat of ranking 14th globally and 1st in the Asia-Pacific region in the Global Destination Sustainability Index (GDS-I), and was featured on BBC News as 'Goyang City, a city making the world a better place.'
