History

In 1997, for the first time in Korea

Goyang City, which hosted the international flower expo

Following the decision to establish a foundation to ensure the efficient preparation of the Goyang World Flower Expo and to develop the event into one that incorporates trade and management concepts, and after the founding general meeting of the Flower Expo Organizing Committee on October 23, 1998, we obtained permission from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province to establish the Goyang World Flower Expo Organizing Committee Foundation on January 13, 1999, and completed corporate registration on January 15, 1999, we launched as a foundation.

The International Horticulture Goyang Korea, which was renamed the International Horticulture Goyang Korea Foundation in 2007, has held 16 Goyang Flower Exhibitions and 17 International Horticulture Goyang Koreas until 2025.

In order to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic floriculture industry and to leap forward as a world-class exhibition, the International Horticulture Goyang Korea has been held annually since 2013 by integrating the flower exhibition and the flower expo.
