CCTV Operation Management

The Goyang International Exhibition Foundation informs you of the purposes and methods by which video information processed by this organization is utilized and managed through its Video Information Processing Device Operation and Management Policy.

  1. 1. Grounds for installation of image information processing equipment and purpose of installation
    • In accordance with Article 25, Paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act, this institution installs and operates image information processing devices for the following purposes.
      • Facility Safety and Fire Prevention
      • Crime prevention for visitor safety

  4. 4. Recording time, storage period, storage location and processing method of video information

    Processing Method: Record and manage matters regarding requests for the use of personal video information for purposes other than its intended use, provision to third parties, destruction, and viewing.
  5. 5. Guide to Methods and Procedures for Verifying Personal Video Information
    • Cases where provision to a third party is possible within the intended purpose of personal video information
      1. 1) Cases where the data subject's consent is obtained
      2. 2) Cases where personal information is provided within the scope of the purpose for which it was collected pursuant to Article 15, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 2 and 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act
    • Verification Method: If the viewing conditions stipulated by relevant laws are met, you can verify the information by contacting the Video Information Management Officer, visiting the Secretariat, and completing the application form (see attached).

  6. 6. Measures to secure the safety of video information
    • The video information processed by this institution is securely managed (through administrator accounts and locking mechanisms). In addition, to prevent falsification or alteration of personal video information, this institution records and manages the creation date and time of personal video information, as well as the purpose of viewing, the viewer, and the date and time of viewing upon access.
  7. 7. Matters concerning changes to the personal information processing policy
    • This policy on the operation and management of video information processing devices will be effective from June 16, 2022. In the event of any additions, deletions, or modifications to the content due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies, we will announce the reasons for the changes and the details on the institution's website at least 7 days prior to implementation.
