The Goyang International Expo Foundation ( CEO Lee Chang-hyun ) announced that it held the '2026 Goyang City MICE Incubation Center Town Hall Meeting ' on May 8 for tenant companies of the Goyang City MICE Incubation Center to strengthen networking and create business opportunities.

This town hall meeting was planned to go beyond simple networking among tenant companies and to provide an opportunity for the expansion of tenant companies' businesses by concretizing collaboration at the ' Business Workshop ' scheduled to be held on June 18.

The event was attended by 14 executives and employees from 12 of the 28 tenant companies at the Goyang City MICE Incubation Center , and included programs such as one- minute business pitches by each company , a tenants' gathering , and preliminary exploration of collaboration possibilities . Participants introduced their respective business fields and engaged in a time of communication by freely sharing opinions . Subsequently, they generated collaboration ideas to facilitate in-depth discussions at the upcoming business workshop in June and laid the groundwork for concrete future discussions.

The Foundation assesses that the town hall meeting served as an opportunity to foster communication among resident companies while simultaneously strengthening collaboration-oriented business linkages . Furthermore , this program holds great significance in that it goes beyond simple internal collaboration to form a cooperative network centered around the incubation center, involving alliance member companies and integrated facilities within the complex district; it is expected to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Goyang City's MICE industry ecosystem.

Lee Chang-hyun, CEO of the Goyang International Expo Foundation, stated, “ This town hall meeting serves as an opportunity to discover practical business opportunities for companies residing in the incubation center, ” adding, “ We will continue to provide support to ensure that tangible results are generated throughout the entire MICE industry ecosystem in Goyang City . ”
